--u/s + CT (pre & post contrast) - look for enhancement, calcifications, staging
--usually solid & hypoechoic on u/s

MRI - if young/pregnant/can't CT
--look for enhancement
--can differentiate b/w clear cell & papillary

percutaneous bx
--if unsure of dx, if may alter mgmt, if good IR & GU pathologist
