• Oxygen to keep O2 sats > 92%
• Establish IV access
– Start diuretic and/or vasodilator (lowers hydrostatic pressure in pulm vessels to get fluid out of pulm interstitium) therapy as
appropriate
• Non invasive positive pressure ventilation might
be needed (only for pts with pulm edema)
