Other investigations to consider in pregnancy:
• Varicella zoster titre (if no clear history of childhood infection)
• Toxoplasmosis (house pets, gardeners)
• Parvovirus B19 (primary school teachers, daycare workers)
• Early GCT/ GTT if:
---• previously large infant
---• obesity
---• previous gestational diabetes
• Sickle cell screen/hemoglobin electrophoresis/Ashkenazi panel depending on ethnic background, history
• Hemoglobin A1C (pre-gestational diabetic patients)
• TB (family or household contact, symptoms, homeless)
