Does the audience have the understanding or skill needed to understand the information? • How well acquainted are they with the analyst and the data analysis? Is the analyst already established as a cred- ible expert? • What do they need to know or take away from the display? • Will this be sent via email or presented in person? How much control will the analyst have over the setting? • What is the tone of this information? Will it be well received by this audience? • Are there any pre-existing biases from the audience that should be considered? • What is the story that you wish to tell? That is, what is the purpose of the presentation, and what conclusions do you wish people to draw?
