2. TG are formed by glycerol and three molecules of fatty acids. They may be hydrolized by two enzymes to form fatty acids: • lipoprotein-lipase, secreted by the endothelial cells and activated by heparin; • adipose-lipase , activated by the hormons such as cortison or adrenalin.
