"Strawberry tongue," an erythematous tongue with prominent papillae, is a characteristic finding of:
Streptococcal pharyngitis
Kawasaki disease
Toxic shock syndrome
Though this finding can be seen in infectious mononucleosis, it is usually in the presence of a
concomitant streptococcal pharyngitis.
